How do I book a session?
To book, simply fill out the enquiry form. once we have confirmed the details, your session date will be confirmed with a $150 deposit which is deducted from the total session fee
When should I book?
Newborn sessions are best booked during pregnancy to ensure availability. Most people book just after their 20 week scan.
Maternity sessions are best between 32 and 36 weeks.
Family and Maternity sessions are recommended 2-4 weeks in advance, especially in busy seasons.
What if my children don't cooperate or smile?
That's completely normal and not uncommon. I have yet to meet a child I could coax a smile from by the end of the session. It's not about forcing smiles, it's about having fun, running and playing and connecting. There is no pressure for 'perfect' behaviour and some of the most meaningful images come from those moments.
Where do sessions take place?
In our pre session planning we will design a session just for you. whether that's running around in the hillsides of Samford or barefoot on the beach, in the comfort of your home or in my Studio at Samford, Brisbane.
Sessions can take place in your home or at an outdoor location such as the beach, countryside or any other location that has meaning to you.
Newborn and Maternity/ Motherhood session available in Studio.
Whats included in my session?
Your session includes my time and expertise, professional editing, and access to your private online gallery where you can view and download your images and order custom prints and albums of your favourites.
Your session includes thoughtful guidance from beginning to end so the experience feels relaxed and easy for your family.
For newborn sessions, all wraps, blankets, outfits and carefully selected studio pieces for baby are provided. Sessions take place in my natural light studio in Samford and are allowed up to two hours so there is plenty of time for feeding, settling and cuddles without ever feeling rushed.
Family and motherhood sessions include location guidance around Samford or the Sunshine Coast, along with help choosing tones and outfits that photograph beautifully together while still feeling like you.
Most importantly, your session is designed to capture genuine connection and emotion — the little details, movement, softness and personality that make your family unique. These are images created to be held onto, displayed in your home and treasured for years to come.
What happens if We have to cancel beacuse the weather is bad?
We simply reschedule! We can't control illness or the weather (unfortunately). In the event of wet weather I will wait until the day of your session the make the call to reschedule - the weather often pulls through though.
If you become unwell, I just sk that you let me know as soon as you can so we and we will find an alternative date.
Is baby's safety a priority?
Always, newborn sessions are calm, unhurried, and completely baby led. As a paediatric Nurse of many years, I am fully qualified in first aid and handling babies and children of all ages.

Do you photograph extended families?
Yes, extended families are a wonderful way to capture multiple generations together
Do you offer albums or framed artwork?
Yes. I believe your photographs deserve to be printed and enjoyed in your home rather than sitting on a hard drive. I offer beautiful custom albums and framed artwork designed to become part of your family’s story. How and where you display these precious memories matters just as much to me and I will help guide you through you from the selection of your favourites to designing your prints and albums and delivery of the final product.
Where are you located and do you travel?
I am located in Samford, Brisbane and I have a Studio at Samford for my Newborn and Maternity and Motherhood Sessions.
Outdoor session are available in the hills of Samford, the beaches of Sunshine Coast, in your home or another location that's special to you.
I am available to travel anywhere in South east Queensland and further by request.
What should we wear?
If you are not sure what to wear - dress in neutral tones (white, cream, beige, brown)
For the guys, cream chinos/denim and a white/beige shirt works well.
For the girls, a white/cream dress works nicely. Flowy dress look beautiful. Make sure it's comfortable.
